Tour Dates

February 5th - Limited Edition 'Constant Fictions' Vinyl!

Good news! My label, Aaahh!!! Real Records have teamed up with Diggers Factory to offer an EXTREMELY LIMITED and PRE-ORDER ONLY vinyl version of my album "Constant Fictions". This will only be pressed if we get enough orders, and there will only be FIFTY copies in existence! If you want one, act quickly! 24 have already been snapped up!…/…/b-sydes-constant-fictions

(If we don't hit the target, Diggers Factory will refund all orders and you'll lose nothing.)

I never dreamed my music would ever be on vinyl (and to be fair, unless we get the numbers I'll continue to dream) It would be absolutely incredible if this happened!

*EDIT* Only 22 days left to go on this...

13th May 2017 - The Tour Is Over

So that's it, tour is all finished and now I'm sad. The last few weeks on tour with Gaz Brookfield and Jake Martin have been an absolute blast. I've loved every minute. Whether it's sharing a stage or their company, it's a pleasure. Thanks for putting up with me guys. I'll miss our slightly vile smelling travelodges.

Huge thank you to anyone who came down early and caught my sets/said hello/picked up merch over the past few weeks. It's been great to see old faces and new in the crowds. I hope to see you all again soon!

Much love.

(The story so far)

B-SYDES (AKA Ben Sydes) became a solo singer-songwriter after becoming disillusioned with the unpredictability of playing in band after band.  He decided to strike out on his own in 2009 and is yet to look back. His first EP 'Handshakes Turn to Headlocks' (2010) proved to be a sampler of what he was capable of. It was said to have ‘Perfectly showcased his ultra stripped down folk ditties’ by the organisers of 2000 Trees Festival. This was followed up shortly after with his 2nd EP ‘Wrecked Vessels’ (2011), a release that showed all the progression you would expect from an artist growing both in confidence and stature. ‘Punktastic’ - “Nobody can deny the passion that Benjamin has thrown into these songs”. ‘Big Cheese Magazine’ - “Sydes folk-rooted songs deliver raw emotions with passion and conviction”.

B-SYDES has been lucky enough to have shared stages with the likes of Frank Turner, Sam Duckworth, Chris T-T, Dave McPherson, Walter Schreifels, Ben Marwood, Jim Lockey and the Solemn Sun, Oxygen Thief, Rob Lynch, Gaz Brookfield and The Retrospective Soundtrack Players to name a few.

Ben released his bank-backed debut album 'Constant Fictions' in May  2015 in between stints on the road and will be touring this as much a possible in 2016.

The debut album 'Constant Fictions' is now out through Aaahh!!Real Records.
